On the 7th day of the 21st General Chapter, Fr. Ignasi Fossas, OSB, was elected as the new abbot president of the Congregation Sublacense Cassinesa OSB. The chapter, held at Montserrat Abbey, Spain, began on August 30 and concluded on September 7, 2024.
Representing the Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat, Manila were Rev. Fr. Abbot Austin Cadiz, OSB, and Fr. Aelred Nilo, OSB.
The said General Chapter is usually held every four years.
